New Staff

New Staff for Grapevine!

At the annual Globalscope Celebration last July, we had no idea how God would eventually bring together the future team of Grapevine. The current staff, consisting of myself and Beth West, officially announced that we would finish our terms of service by June 2013. Although there were a few prospects for new team members, the possibility of them arriving to the field in less than a year seemed small. That very week, however, we saw that God was several steps ahead of us. Through the connections of one of the board members we were introduced to the Bernardinos - a Filipino couple praying to do campus ministry in a foreign country. 

In February, Mark and Princess flew over for a scouting trip, and we immediately saw that God had prepared them especially for this place and ministry. After touring the campus, eating the food, sharing in our Tuesday night, and hanging out with the students, they felt confident in their decision to work with this ministry. Even though the decision and transition are taking place very quickly, we all feel that the relationships that have been formed are no accident. 

Please keep Mark and Princess in your prayers as they take care of many details for their May arrival. Pray for visas, funding, closure at home, and emotional strength.
